Is Munchara free to use?

Yes — creating an account, browsing the feed, watching videos, and following places is completely free. Restaurant owners can also claim a basic place profile at no cost. Business membership plans with advanced features start at $10/month.

Which cities is Munchara available in?

Munchara is available across the US and growing fast. We currently have active communities in over 50 cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston, Austin, and Miami. If your city isn't listed yet, sign up anyway — your videos help us grow there.

Is there a mobile app?

Munchara is fully optimized for mobile browsers right now — no download required. A native iOS and Android app is on our roadmap. Sign up to be notified when it launches.

Question 5

How do I post a video?

Find the restaurant's place profile, tap 'Add Your Video', and upload a clip from your camera roll. Videos can be up to 200MB. We recommend short, authentic clips — the food, the vibe, the moment. No editing skills required.

Are there rules for what I can post?

Keep it real and keep it food-focused. Videos must show genuine dining experiences. We don't allow misleading content, spam, or anything that violates our community guidelines. Paid promotions must be disclosed. We review flagged content and remove anything that doesn't meet our standards.

Can I leave a written review too?

Absolutely. Every place profile has a Reviews tab where you can leave a star rating and written review alongside your video. Reviews are sorted by helpfulness and recency.

Can I follow other users and places?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Follow your favorite restaurants to see their latest community videos in your feed. You can also follow other food lovers whose taste you trust. Your feed is shaped by who and what you follow.

How do I claim my restaurant's profile?

Go to the For Businesses page and register your restaurant. After a quick verification step you'll have access to your business dashboard where you can update your profile, respond to reviews, and view analytics.

What's included in the business plans?

Our Starter plan ($10/month) includes a verified badge, video analytics, and review management. The Pro plan ($29/month) adds priority placement in Explore, customer insights, and enhanced profile features. Both plans come with a 14-day free trial.

Question 11

Can I remove a video posted about my restaurant?

You can flag any video that violates our community guidelines — spam, misleading content, or inappropriate material. Our moderation team reviews all flags within 24 hours. You cannot remove honest reviews or genuine customer videos simply because they're unflattering.

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes. Business members can respond to any review directly from their dashboard. Responses are public and appear below the original review. We recommend responding to all reviews — positive and negative — to show you're engaged with your community.

Can I cancel my business plan anytime?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no prorated refunds, no cancellation fees.

What data do you collect?

We collect the information you provide when you sign up (name, email), content you post (videos, reviews, comments), and standard usage data (pages visited, interactions). We never sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion from your profile settings. We'll permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days. Note that videos and reviews you've posted may remain visible in anonymized form unless you delete them individually first.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Accepted Answer

Click 'Forgot password' on the login page and enter your email address. We'll send you a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. The link expires after 1 hour.
