Munchara Regression Checklist

Expected: Three orange pill badges animate in below the hero headline. All three use the primary orange color (no gray or default colors).

Expected: "Explore Restaurants" is a solid orange pill button. "Upload a Video" is a secondary/outlined pill. Both are clickable and navigate correctly.

Expected: A ShareMenu popover opens with Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, copy link, and native share options. Clicking "Copy link" copies the URL to clipboard.

Expected: The native OS share sheet opens (Web Share API). No crash or blank popover.

Expected: Carousel fetches from /api/videos/recent and renders video cards. Cards are swipeable. Thumbnails show either a thumbnail image or a <video> element for null thumbnailUrl.

Expected: Each card has a circular avatar top-left with a white border ring. If no photo, shows creator initials. No broken image icons.

Expected: Carousel fetches from /api/videos/creator. Cards show a gold "Creator" badge and gold heart counts. Each card links to /feed?v={id}&creator=1.

Expected: Restaurant cards render with images, names, and cuisine tags. Clicking a card navigates to /places/:id.

Expected: First video autoplays (muted). No crash or blank screen.

Expected: Video pauses. Tap again — video resumes. No accidental like triggered.

Expected: Like animation fires. For guests: optimistic like (not persisted, no 401 crash). For signed-in users: like is persisted.

Expected: "Tap to unmute" hint appears after ~1 second. Tapping it unmutes. Hint does not reappear in the same session after dismissal.

Expected: Next clip plays unmuted. Mute state is lifted to page level and does not reset per clip.

Expected: Buttons respond correctly. Tapping them does NOT trigger play/pause on the video behind them.

Expected: Text is hard-constrained to the left side, stopping 72px from the right edge. It does not overlap the action rail buttons.

Expected: Navigates to /creator-profile/:creatorProfileId when available. No 404.

Expected: Food Spot button renders only on clips that have a non-null placeId. Clips without a placeId show no Food Spot button.

Expected: Feed opens directly on that video. Creator feed context is applied.

Expected: ShareMenu opens with correct URL for that clip. Tapping outside the menu closes it without triggering play/pause.

Expected: Profile renders: photo, name, verified badge, city, bio, social links, video grid, Follow button, and Favorite Spots section. No crash.

Expected: Redirected to /login. No crash.

Expected: Button toggles between "Follow" and "Following" pill states. State persists on page refresh.

Expected: + icon toggles to a checkmark/following state. Follow is persisted.

Expected: Redirected to login. Dashboard is not accessible without authentication.

Expected: Confirmation dialog appears. Confirming removes the video from the grid.

Expected: Community videos tagged to this place render as cards. Clicking a card opens the feed at that video.

Expected: Two cards: "Food Lover" → /signup, "Food Creator" → /become-a-creator. "Sign in" link → /login.

Expected: Redirected to login or upload-choice. Upload page is not accessible without authentication.

Expected: File is accepted. Caption field appears. Progress bar shows upload progress.

Expected: Client-side error shown before upload starts. No server request made for oversized files.

Expected: Thumbnail is generated client-side via canvas. If generation times out (5s), upload still proceeds with null thumbnail — no hang or crash.

Expected: Back camera is used by default. Flip button switches to front camera. Live timer shows recording duration.
